I would HIGHLY recommend working with Katherine. Not only was she professional, responsive and easy to work, her food was healthy, innovative and delicious! We were a group of 7, renting an AirBnb and Katherine came in to cook for us one evening, and made our experience even more memorable! Katherine worked closely with me to design the menu, even taking into account dietary restrictions for the group, and designed a family style menu based on our price range. She had great suggestions when planning the menu and the quality of her ingredients is top notch. She goes to the farmers market for fresh, organic ingredients and her presentation of the fresh ingredients was beautiful. I HIGHLY recommend working with Katherine if looking for a private chef!!

We had the pleasure of having Katherine as a private chef for a private dinner at our friend's home in Ventura. Katherine was very easy to work with and very responsive during the planning stage. She came up with a wonderful menu and the food was absolutely delicious. She was also super sweet and fun to hang out with. If you are lucky enough to have Katherine as your private chef you will be amazed. I would definitely use her again for a private dinner or catering function.

We LOVED Katherine! We were a group of six girls renting a beach house for a weekend and we were lucky enough to book Katherine as our Private Chef one evening. The theme of the evening was tacos! She was able to cater a Mexican inspired meal with a few appetizers and show stopping skirt steak tacos as our main! It tasted super fresh and the presentation felt very gourmet. She was super responsive leading up to our weekend, and on the night of, she was punctual and took care of everything! We were able to enjoy our night with no worries. She was kind and super friendly and we will definitely be using her services again!

Hired Katherine for my husband’s 50th birthday dinner. She was great to work with. Offered several menu options and worked with out group’s dietary restrictions. She was easy to communicate with during the planning. She arrived early, was prepared and professional. Her food was tremendous. All guests all commented on the range of flavors and presentation. Katherine was excellent! We are a picky group, renting a house for the long weekend, and wanted to have food delivered for dinner. Katherine was very attentive to our requests and details, we drove her crazy with several changes and she did all of them perfectly (even a few last minute ones). She was very responsive from the start and delivered on time with a good amount of left overs. I would highly recommend her and looking forward to using her again when back in town.

Chef Katherine is a pure gem catering find. No surprise though. Turns out she was an SF chef and food stylist who wanted a change of pace - super lucky she is here now in SB! We've hired her for two events, including our wedding which she knocked out of the park for every guest. Incredible range from the best lemon cake you've ever had (which somehow is vegan even though insanely delicious & rich) to a really nice homemade olive tapenade to your favorite Italian dish if you want it. And her presentation and personality will make your event, party, dinner that much better. She's such fun to be around but never stops working! You've invited a full 5-star 1-person restaurant kitchen into your home, and you'll be happy you did.

We had a fantastic experience with Katherine catering our wedding ceremony. Her menu was creative, delicious, and healthy. She was incredibly kind to tweak her menu to various dietary needs in the group so all could enjoy, and did so effortlessly. The food was fresh, flavorful, and a highlight of the evening. We even had bountiful leftovers that sustained us for weeks afterward. But truly the best part was the cake. People were so smitten with the cake, they were asking for the recipe, others tried to steal some of the cake to take home for themselves later. The cake is something I typically see as very forgettable at weddings. But this cake was a smash hit! We feel fortunate to have worked with someone who kept the kitchen sparkling clean while graciously serving the group.

My family came to Santa Barbara for the week with 5 children under 3. We wanted a good dinner but weren’t sure that was possible with COVID and kids. That is where Katherine came in and made us a wonderful meal. She is an excellent chef and created an amazing menu using fresh farmers market ingredients! Literally the CARROTS were one of the most delicious things I have ever had. Everything else was amazing too. She left the house cleaner then she found it and was an absolute professional. I would hire Katherine again in a heart beat! I would love to experience her other recipes!
